Keynote Speaker:
Kahina Cargile provides the Keynote address. Join us for an interactive and informative session to empower you so you can understand what the Microsoft TEALS Program is all about. Technology Education and Learning Support (TEALS) is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that builds sustainable computer science (CS) programs in high schools.
About the Speaker:
Kahina Cargile is from Chicago, IL but has been a resident in Milwaukee, WI for 4 years. Kahina is currently the Regional Manager for the State of Wisconsin and North Dakota for the Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS Program. Her background is in higher education where she focused on college and career access for underserved youth. Kahina received her Bachelor of Science from Marquette University, where she majored in Marketing, and received a Masters of Management from Robert Morris University Chicago, with a concentration in Higher Education. Kahina is passionate about supporting those of minority and underrepresented communities to progress and accomplish great things, moving the community forward. She serves on several boards and committees for nonprofit organizations, volunteers regularly, and is a Rotary Club Member. In her spare time, Kahina enjoys cooking, trying new recipes, and binge-watching new TV shows with her husband.
