Tech-Prize is an Economic Development engine hosted in Racine, WI that includes processes to enable entrepreneurs to develop great business ideas, compete, and launch successful businesses in our community. This is done through a combination of mentoring, Biz Shops (educational workshops), and competitions that provide the framework for a successful business launch.
For 2020, the Tech-Prize competition and process are Virtual. This year, we will limit the scope to the mentoring of ideas, supported by Biz-Shops, established to create the skills and capabilities to launch those businesses and host an idea competition and App competition that provides up to $60,000 in scholarship prizes.

The Tech-Prize event will be hosted throughout downtown Racine. The event will bring entrepreneurs with ideas, investors that would like to launch those ideas, mentors, businesses, educators, civic leaders, and non-profits together in the pursuit of “Making your individual idea reality”.
